Alois Starustka (Al), 73, passed away on March 21, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alois was born in Roznov pod Radhostem, Czechoslovakia to Alois Starustka and Marie Starustkova on June 20th, 1951.
Alois served in the Army and then graduated from Brno University of Technology in Czechoslovakia. Then he met his true love, Irena Stojanova in Roznov and married her in 1974. In 1975 his first daughter Marketa was born Followed by second daughter Irena in 1979.
In 1985 he took a major risk by escaping the communist regime in Czechoslovakia and moved his family to the United States without knowing English and 100$ in his pocket. He worked extremely hard to provide for his family, sometimes three jobs at a time until he was able to start his own business. He made a career in manufacturing injection molding machines and worked across many countries and across the entire United States. Alois lived in southern California until 1998, when the family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Alois was genuinely happy person, and he loved his family and friends with so much heart. His favorite saying was 'Thats ok". Alois always chased adventure on his motorcycle, with friends by his side visiting many cities in the United States and Mexico. Alois loved traveling with his devoted wife Irena on many cruises and other excursions. Alois loved spending quality time with his grandchildren, his dogs, and taking care of his family.
Alois is survived by his wife, Irena Starustka , his daughters, Marketa Wells, and Irena Turner, his brothers Milan Starustka and Ivan Starustka , and his grandchildren, Ethan Alois Turner, and Silus Steven Wells.
