Gloria Duso

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, Gloria Duso, wife of Tim Duso and mother of Anthony Giordano, entered into the presence of the Lord at the age of 73. Gloria was born October 29, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Madeline Marra.

Gloria lived in New York City for the first part of her life working as an assistant and also being a loving and devoted stay-at-home Mom to her son for many years. She married Tim Duso on August 18, 2001. They embarked on an adventure together moving to Henderson, Nevada where she worked in various casinos meeting lots of new friends. 

She was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend. She was known for her kind and giving spirit and the fun she brought to any situation. Gloria loved enjoying time with her husband and African Grey parrot, Georgie, relaxing at home and also loved visiting her son and family in Chicago.

Gloria was prceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband Tim, her son Anthony (Bethany) Giordano, her grandson Otto Giordano, her siblings Toni (Anthony) Mercogliano, Florence Gores (bill Hill), John Marra, Deborah (Michael) Nemoyten, Mary Vallone (Rene Coralles) and Anna (Robert) Cassiliano, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. 

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 28 from 4pm- 8 pm with a tribute at 6:00pm and a meal to follow at the Prestige Banquet & Event Center on 1029 Whitney Ranch, Henderson, NV 89104.
