Jenelle Cain

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jenelle Marie Cain, a gifted writer, beloved sister, daughter, mother, and friend, who left us far too soon at the age of 48. Jenelle passed away on March 22nd, 2025, leaving a legacy of beautiful words, unwavering talent, and a spirit that will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Born on September 3rd, 1976, as Jenelle Marie Pelletier, to a woman who would soon become a single mother, her wild journey begun. She was soon blessed with an amazing father she called daddeo, and a sister 6 yrs younger. Jenelle was a writer whose work touched hearts and minds across the waters. Her writing, known for its depth, empathy, and insight, spoke to the universal human experience. Whether through poetry, prose, or essays, Jenelle had an uncanny ability to capture the soul of her subjects, leaving readers feeling her emotions and connected to her. Her words were her gift to the world, and they will live on, a testament to her brilliance. 

Beyond her remarkable talent, Jenelle was a compassionate sister, devoted daughter, and a determined mother. Her faith in God and her family knew no bounds. As a sister, she was an inspiration of strength during times of need. As a daughter, she was a soldier for justice and freedom, always prioritizing the well-being of her loved ones through awareness of self. And as a mother, she poured her heart into her case to nurture through love, guidance, and an unwavering belief in her daughters potential. Her dedication to her family was unparalleled, and she will be remembered for the unwavering strength she showed throughout her journey and the Light she brought into our lives. 

To her friends, Jenelle was a confidant, a source of inspiration, and a bright light. Her generosity, compassion, and authenticity created lasting bonds that will remain even as she is no longer with us. She had the rare ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, valued, and her absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who were fortunate to call her a friend. 

Jenelle is survived by her daughter, Lillie Haven, her parents Gerald and Sandra, her sister, Lacey Marie, Aunt Patty, cousins Brian and Matthew Gurney, and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by Pat and John, Ruth and Norman and will join them to behold in Gods Everlasting Love. 

Though we mourn her loss, we take solace in knowing that her words and the love she shared with each of us will live on forever. Jenelle will be dearly missed, but her impact on the world and the lives she touched will never fade.
